Meditation Everyday: Summer Solstice Shining
Mon, Jun 15th - Sun, Jun 21st @ 6:00 am - 6:30 am
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year—a moment when light reaches its fullest expression. Across cultures and traditions, this turning point has been honored as a time of vitality, gratitude, illumination, and conscious alignment with the rhythms of nature.
In the yogic tradition, the Solstice is considered a powerful time for meditation and transformation. As the light reaches its peak, we are invited to pause and reflect on the light within ourselves.
From June 15th through June 20th, we will gather each day for an 11-minute practice of Long Ek Ong Kars, creating a steady rhythm of presence and devotion. These daily meditations offer an opportunity to quiet the mind, open the heart, and cultivate a deeper connection to the Infinite.
On June 21st, the day of the Solstice, we will deepen into a 37½-minute practice. Through the sacred vibration of Long Ek Ong Kars, we align ourselves with the expansive field of consciousness that connects all life.
This week is not about striving or becoming something different.
It is an invitation to remember.
- To remember your connection to the Earth beneath your feet.
- To remember your connection to the breath moving through your body.
- To remember your connection to the vast intelligence that animates all of life.
As we practice together, allow yourself to be nourished by the growing light of the season and by the stillness that exists beneath all movement.
May this Solstice bring clarity where there has been confusion, openness where there has been contraction, and renewed trust in the path unfolding before you.
- Take your seat.
- Open your heart.
- Lift your voice.
And let yourself be carried by the sound.
Sat Nam…
