Meet Our Yoga Teachers

Tara Matthews, L.Ac, Experienced 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, is an accomplished Kundalini Yoga instructor trained at Golden Bridge of Santa Monica, California. A yoga teacher of over 20 years and current KRI Level 3 student, her background in the medical field gives her a unique and in depth understanding of physical and sacred anatomy. A teacher of teachers and enthusiastic trainer in gong sound therapy, Tara also maintains a full time Chinese Medical and Energy Work Practice in Ojai. She currently mentors with Mehtab Benton.

Jennifer Marcaccini is a yoga teacher and certified in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga, and Hatha Yoga. She craves learning and evolving to bigger and better versions of herself and has studied with world-renowned teachers in both the United States and India.  She has been teaching yoga, leading retreats and offering workshops since 2009.
Jennifer’s classes are designed for everyBODY.  Her women’s only class helps women strengthen and trust their inner wisdom, as well as open their bodies and heart to all that is possible.  Her prenatal classes include movement and meditation designed specifically for the pregnant mama.  Jennifer also offers monthly workshops and bi-annual retreats on various topics that resonate with all members of the modern family. 
When not in the studio you can find her exploring the natural beauty of Ojai with her family, cooking vegetarian food in her kitchen, gabbing with girlfriends or simply enjoying Libbey park with her daughters.
Shiva Preet is an Ojai Native, certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, Gong Yoga Nidra teacher, Gong Therapist,  sound bath and meditation facilitator. She is honored to work throughout the community teaching and Leading groups in Yoga and Sound. She sees Kundalini energy as a guiding light to bring each person closer to unlocking their infinite potential.  Her uplifted yoga classes drift between deep meditation and play, infusing sound currents to leave you buzzing with delight.

Francesca Michelle Gold  is a Certified Clinical Yoga Therapist through Loyola Marymount University and the International Association of Yoga Therapists. In addition to her 1,000+ hour Yoga Therapy training, she has studied at the 500-hour level through the Himalayan Institute (founded by Swami Rama) and is completing her Master of Arts in Yoga Studies through Loyola Marymount University (BA Psychology). She has studied Ayurveda in India and the USA. She’s a former world-class level Roller Figure Skater and continues to teach at the ‘Ojai Skate Club.’ She’s lived in India off and on for two years and can’t wait to get back to see her friends and teachers and spend time in a place that is dear to her heart. Francesca’s a beginner Hindi speaker and has learned to read and write Sanskrit. A Yoga Therapy session offers you a chance to sharpen your self-inquiry skills, develop compassion for yourself and your path, learn new ways to approach healing, and engage in preventative care. Having overcome immense mental wellness challenges in her short life (addiction, severe depression, panic attacks, suicidal ideations, PTSD), Francesca offers a down-to-earth/intuitive/clinically informed approach that can hopefully help you get to the root of why you’re booking her for a session.
