Pre & Post Natal Yoga & Meditation
This special 8 week series is created for women in any phase of pregnancy, including conception. Also the space is held for mothers with babies up to six months old. Each class offers you the opportunity to practice supportive pre & post natal yoga postures and breathing techniques, meditate and connect inwardly with your baby, relax with sound healing and commune with a tribe of mothers. No prior yoga experience necessary! The class is offered both in person at Soul Body Ojai and on the Soul Tribe Online Platform.
Kundalini Soundbath & Yoga with Tara Matthews
An invigorating and inspirational morning Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Class which includes, movement, meditation, relaxation and community connection.
Gong Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra, or guided yogic sleep, enhanced and deepened by the addition of specified gong playing. Gong Yoga Nidra creates relaxation, enhances healing, enables self-diagnosis, and helps us to integrate change by accessing the subconscious. It is a tool for initiating deep change and root causes of physical, emotional and psychological imbalances that result from stress. This therapy brings about a supported lucid dream state brought about by the enhancement of alpha state, a superconscious mind frequency that releases tension, enhances vision and brings about a heightened awareness that allows us to be more present in our lives. Guided meditation is nothing new. But combining yoga nidra with specific gong playing styles to direct the experience is.
Qi Gong & Yoga Energy Flow
This class begins with 30-minutes gentle Qigong practice to open up energy channels in the body, then moves through a series of yoga postures to strengthen and stretch the entire body. You will feel completely relaxed and rejuvenated after 10-minutes of shavasana. The class sometimes concludes with either 15-minutes meditation or guided Reiki healing experience.

Kundalini, Sound & Transformation Yoga
This Kundalini Yoga class is infused with sacred sound, breath movement and meditation. Shiva uses current astrology and moon phases to tap into the flow of the collective. Using this technology she gives us tools to navigate our modern lives. Shiva’s classes drift in and out of deep meditation and joyful playfulness. This class is all inclusive for any body at any level.
This class moves at a slow to moderate pace; we practice sun salutations, standing and balance poses, seated stretches and more. Each class is different, depending on who shows up 🙂
There are modifications available to everyone and you may sit in a chair for this class if you wish (bring your own chair!). You may be on a different journey from your classmates and the community developed in this class is supportive and empowering. Yoga happens in relationship: when we show up and learn together, we discover new aspects of relating and begin to see the world in new ways. Join us to create positive change, improve quality of life, attain what you may have previously thought out of reach, and just to unwind, relax, and connect to your inner sense of being.
This class is designed for you if you are new to yoga, coming back to the practice, and/or if you are challenged by injuries, chronic conditions, stress, or looking for a more peaceful class experience. Improved balance, flexibility, agility, and strength are the unstated goals of this class, as we move more slowly and with breath awareness. This class is for those interested in a well-designed, comprehensive approach which may include philosophy, meditation, āsana (movement), prāṇāyāma (breathwork), and guided relaxation. Discover deeper layers of yourself and revitalize your practice if you’re a returning student.
This class is appropriate for those with full hip or knee replacements, but who know their limits and scope of movement.
